How to go to Command Prompt in Windows 10

  • Once the Windows 10 OS boots up, when you see the Desktop screen, there you can find the START button
  • Just next to the START button, you will find a Search Box. There you can type ‘Command Prompt’ and hit Enter
  • If you don’t find the Search box, just enable it by following the below steps

Steps to enable the Search Box on Windows 10 Desktop

Here is the step by step how to enable to search box

Right click on the Taskbar and go to ‘Search’ and select ‘Show search box’ option as shown in the below figure

Once the search box enabled, like below you can find and there you type ‘Command Prompt’ and hit Enter
